I removed AVG antivirus from Windows XP, now I cannot get a password request from MSN Premium email.

I tried to remove AVG antivirus but it was only partially removed.  I installed another antivirus, but then decided to uninstall it and completely uninstall AVG.  I used a special AVG Removal Tool to do it.

But then I discovered that when signing on to  MSN Premium Email,  it would not ask for a password.  The window goes blank with a request at the bottom for another user to sign on.

I tried to do a System Restore, but found out that I can no longer access MS Help.

Come to think of it, I did eliminate some services via Glary's Utilites.  Which services are necessary for MSN email?

LET ME BE MORE SPECIFIC:  When I launch MSN Installer, all I get is a blank window.  Perhaps this is symptomatic of the real problem.

I am at a loss as to what to do.  I use MSN Email for my business but don't want to upgrade to 7 or 10.

I know XP is no longer supported, but if anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

I called them two days ago.  I used the 800-386-5550 phone nr.  They could not help me.  Does the 642-7676 take me to a different place?
