McAfee cannot verify subscription.

I have McAfee Personal Firewall Plus For MSN.  As of this morning (5/23/12), it says that it's having a problem doing updates.  When I click on "Verify Subscription", I get a message that my subscription cannot be verified.  Yesterday everything was fine, today it's not.  What happened?

PLEASE NOTE: If anyone else is having this problem, please post it here! Sometimes it's not the individual user's problem, but a problem at MSN's or McAfee's end, but the only way they know is if they hear from people having the problem.

UPDATE:  Although I'm still getting the message that my subscription can't be verified, I am now able to get updates to download and install successfully (yes!).  With the Security Center open, if I click on "Navigation", then "Subscription", it says that my subscription is "Active".  And the green bar says that my computer is secure, no action required.  So, what the other verification problem is, I still don't know.

But if someone behind the scenes got my updates working, I'd like to send them a big "thank you".  I'm not going to delete this thread, just in case anyone else comes up with a problem like it, or in case it recurs.

If anyone from tech support has any questions or information, I'd appreciate a message.

Hi,

From what you've encountered with the McAfee Software, there might have been an interruption that happened between the McAfee's server and on your internet connection. It's glad to hear that you got McAfee up and running again! Keep us posted on any technical difficulties you may encounter whether it's McAfee or MSN issue.

I appreciate the thought, and that was what I surmised, too.  As of this morning (just now, in fact), my subscription is verifiable (and verified) and my updates are downloading, installing and up to date.  So, all is well.  I'm glad to have this forum to come to; it's a huge help.
