After a mix up on my home page I wouond up with Google instead of MSN.  When I managed to get MSN back I found the command bar was missing.  I tried to locate it in several different ways.  Found a program that would install it but it cautioned that it could harm by laptop.  How can I get it back without to much trouble.

Hello,

Based on your description, it is possible that the MSN shortcut is corrupted or the MSN software itself is not installed on your computer.

If the MSN shortcut is not working, please follow these steps:
1. Delete the MSN butterfly icon in your desktop.
2. Click Start, click Computer
3. Open drive C:\
4. Open Program Files (Program Files (x86) if 64bit)
5. Open the MSN folder
6. Look for the MSN butterfly icon, right-click on it then click New > Shortcut (desktop)
7. Open MSN using the new icon.

If MSN is not yet installed or may have been uninstalled, please go to this link to install MSN:

If MSN is already installed and you are just missing the Navigation bar, please click View on top of MSN, click Navigation bar, and ensure that Navigation bar is checked.

Thank you.
