McAfee ending.

I've received an email that MSN Premium will no longer include McAfee Personal Firewall Plus with the subscription. Will you replace it with something else? Is Webroot Spysweeper the same thing as McAfee -- in other words, the same type of coverage and protection?

It’s true that McAfee services are terminated from June 30 onwards, This change does not impact the Webroot Secure Anywhere ® software that is also available with your subscription.

If you decide to discontinue the McAfee service, Windows Defender ® Antivirus can be installed from the Safety button on the MSN Explorer navigation bar. Which will give you the similar Protection.

Very nice to hear from you, Mubarak. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, SP1. I already have Windows Defender on my computer and I keep the updates up to date, but have the scanning and real-time protection shut off because I am running the McAfee Personal Firewall Plus for MSN and they don't function well together. Is the Windows Defender I'm talking about the same as the Windows Defender Antivirus that you mentioned? Thank you for your help.
