Since yesterday around 3 pm I cannot sign on to MSN.  I do have internet connectivity and can get online using Google and Internet Explorer with no problems.  However, when I click on MSN butterfly, I get the message that I am unable to connect to MSN at this time and searching for a solution.  It then states that no solution was found and to close windows.   I have restarted my computer and nothing is working.

When I click on the butterfly, it does not take me to the sign on screen.  The only thing that happens is I get a "MSN has stopped working" message.  It then tells me that Windows will search for a solution and then it closes.

Hi Ron,

When I click on the butterfly it does not take me to a sign on screen.  The only thing I see is a windows message stating the "MSN has stopped working".  And then it changes and states it is looking for a solution and windows will be notified.  The window then closes.   Do you have any other suggestions?

Ron,
I went through the process you described, but it did not correct the problem.  I spoke with MSN Support and they had me uninstall and reinstall MSN and that did not correct the problem.  They were supposed to have a Tech call me yesterday, but I never heard from them.  This is frustrating.

This did not work, but I was able to have a MSN tech call me back who took remote access and fixed the problem.  For someone reason they were unable to completely remove MSN before installing.
