Hi,
Is this only happening when you sign in to MSN? Can you play sound or music on your computer without opening MSN?

Hi Clyde,
If this is only happening on MSN, try restoring the default settings on MSN by following the steps below:
Start MSN, but do not sign in. While on the MSN sign-in screen, press & hold the CTRL, SHIFT and F11 keys all at the same time.
When you are prompted to confirm your action, click "Remove Account" and then click Yes again. Restart MSN, re-add your email by following the instructions on MSN Installation Wizard. Sign in to MSN.
Let us know the results.
