I open my email on my MSN homepage.  After the outlook 2016 update, the outlook icon is still on my MSN homepage, but it says it cannot connect.  If I click on the inbox, my emails will then open.  Also on MSN homepage. outlook has always shown the number of unopened emails and this is now not showing any number of unopened emails.  I called Microsoft, was on the phone over two hours, calls were dropped, transferred to several departments and they finally said they could not help me.  Other users are posting this same problem, so what is the solution?
