How To Activate / SetUp Email Alerts

I have had Qwest which included MSN Premium, which included email alerts for over 8 years now. A feature of the MNS Premium was email with email alert which would displaying the text in a bubble in the lower right corner of my screen as well as notification via sound. All I had to do was sign into my email and email alerts would automatically come through,

Due to the upcoming dissolution of their partnership if one wants to continue with the MSN Premium you have to purchase the MSN Premium directly through MSN, which I have done.

Email alert is an essential feature I must have. The problem is now that I have the new MSN Premium the email alert is not functioning, needs to be activated, or ???.

Can someone tell me how to activate/setup email alert with MSN Premium.

Hi muffintop,

Need more information:

a. What operating system are you using?

b. What is the version of MSN Software?

c. What is the version of Windows Live Messenger?

Things to do:

1. Open Messenger > Click Tools (If you are unable to see tools then press ALT on keyboard) > Click options > Click on Alerts > Check Display alerts when email is received and then click Apply and Ok.

2. Sign-out and Sign into MSN and Sent a test email to yourself to check resolution.
