Why do I lose my homepage. If I read email or browse the web, I have to resign in everytime I want my msn homepage. You know MSN has never sucked so much since microsoft took over. Page stops responding, lose home page....I was stupid enough to pay for 2nd year, doubt I will renew again!!!

Hi,

There is a recent update on MSN client 10.50 which has changedthe sign in interface for security purpose, so going forward you will not havethe automatic sign in option or remember password. Every time you have to typeyour password to login to your account and to get your home page, in case whenyou sign in to MSN client and if doesn't bring up the home page then pleasefollow the below steps set msn as a homepage.

Sign in to msn.

Click on help and settings at the top.

In the drop down click on settings

Select "Set the home page" option

Type in my.msn.com or http://www.msn.comin the box.

Click on ok or Save.

Thanks and regards

Mubarak

I  think you misunderstood my problem. I sign into msn, the password comes up, I enter my password and am now signed into MSN and I am on my homepage. Let's say I read my email. I then try to go to my homepage, it is no longer there, It is a generic homepage that it wants me to customize  or sign in. I sign in again(even tho I still have access to email and all my settings. After I sign in  my homepage is back. If I leave the home page It will be gone when I return to it and I have to sign in again to veiw my hompage. If I do the drop down menu as you suggest it brings up a generic page again, not my customized page. I have to sign in again everytime I want my customized page. makes me nervous having to type my password several times a session.

thank you,

joe
