The secondary account has now shown up on both laptops, but not on the other desktop.  Additionally, even though I can access msn through the secondary accounts on the laptops, I can't receive inbox mail.  The other folders (trash can and junk) filled in but inbox says no messages.  This added email account is the original account.  The incoming mail shows up on my desktop computer, but not on the laptops.  I still don't know why the secondary account eventually appeared on the laptops and not on the second desktop.  I took no action.  Duh!
