This problem is with my hotmail inbox.  The problem exists regardless of how I access my email (eg using windows live, or using msn mail or using outlook connector)  All of the mail is automatically deleted from my inbox on a rolling basis after 7-8 days.  I don't have this problem with my "sent items" folder...only with my inbox.  I've had this hotmail account for years with no issue, until one day, all emails over 7 days old started disappearing.  By the way, I also have an msn email account (****@msn.com) and have no problems with this inbox.  Thanks!

Hi Ned Flanders,

This can happen if you have configured your account on many email applications like outlook, outlook express, mobile device etc.

Things to try:

Remove your email configuration from all E- mail application if any. Also we recommended you to Reset your password and Secret Question and Answer by visiting https:\\account.live.com and wait for 24 hrs to see if it works.

Please revert back for further assistance.

Thanks

Ned,
Check your email settings for this account in all programs and devices that you access your messages from. One or more of them are configured to delete messages after x days or is using POP to remove the messages from the server after download.
