My wife and I have these two PCs for about four years.  Two months ago, the "My MSN" on my PC started to have a problem displaying my homepage.   I tinkered around for a while, and managed to resurrect the homepage.   But I lost both the top (horizontal) dashboard and the right side (vertical) dashboard.  The top dashboard has the all important Favorites.   I don't know where to find them.

I did e-mail the problem to the Microsoft Customer Support and the MSN Technical Support a couple of times but didn't get any decent responses from those to groups.

They gave me something that I thought would certainly work  (Link:- http://answers.msn.com/solution.aspx?solutionid=eae4f90e-634d-484b-84c1-b16d9d5eda4e).   But it just pointed to a document titled "How can I get the MSN Software online?"   It has 10 steps that looked quite promising.   And I tried to follow each step carefully, and in sequence.   Unfortunately, it was set up for a full installation; and it kept telling me that the system was already installed.

Greetings,

Thanks for using the MSN Solution Center Answers Forum.

Things to try:

1. Sign into MSN > Click on View at the top > Click Navigation bar and then click show navigation bar (make sure this option is selected)

OR

Sign into MSN > Right click at the top next to feedback and then Left click on Show navigation bar.

2. At the top right, next to display name and picture you will see an arrow which goes towards the right of the screen, next to it you will see a symbol( >>), click on this symbol to unhide Dashboard.

This should fix your issue.

Thanks!
