Hi Wookie58,
Please follow the instructions below to create a new shortcut on the desktop.
For Win Vista / Win 7
- Click on‘computer’
- Click on‘local drive C’
- Click on‘Program files’
- Click on the folder‘MSN’
- Click on the folder‘MSN Corefiles’
- Check for the Butterfly icon which says‘MSN.exe’
- Right click on‘MSN.exe’, in the dropdown click on ‘Send to’ Desktop ( create shortcut)
Note: In case if you are unable to view the‘MSN Corefiles’, it will be hidden it needs to be unhidden, please find the below given instructions:
a. Click‘Organize’, ‘Folder and Search options’, then ‘View’
b. Put a dot on‘Show hidden files and folders’
c. Uncheck the‘Hide extensions for known file types’ and ‘Hide protected operating system files options’ .
d. Click‘Apply’, then ‘OK’
