I have the same problem but it only started about 2 weeks ago. And it is only on stories on MSN no other sites. I figured MSN messed something up since they are changing a bunch of stuff on their sites. I have not found a solution that doesn't effect other sites so I just don't visit MSN news stories anymore.

Hi,

Because of Compatibility issue with nbc news website and Msn client the page is not displayed properly. In order to resolve the problem, you need to have internet Explorer 8 installed on your computer, if you have internet explorer 9 then you need to downgrade the internet explorer from IE 9 to IE 8.

In order to downgrade the internet explorer to 8 please refer the below link.

I am using internet explorer 8 already and the MSN news websites are still messed up so that is not the solution. It may be for the original poster but not for me as this just started about 2 weeks ago.

About the same time they released IE10 for windows 7 which I have not downloaded or installed. I am still using IE8.

If there are compatibility issues with IE9 installed on the comnputer, why does the website work with IE9?

Since we are paying for MSJN Explorer can Microsoft provide the following:

An explanation of the relationship between MSN Explorer and various version of IE

A list of known compatiblity issues

A plan and schedule to resolve the numerous complatilbity issues that have occurred over the past few years.
