I am on Windows 7, 64-bit Home Edition.   My MSN Mail (on MSN Explorer) has finally started to work again -- more or less.   The contacts finally reappeared.   I sent an email to a friend from the MSN Mail; she received it.   But when she hit "Reply", my email address shows up as a series of numbers followed by "@outlook.com".   She sent the reply, but the email came back to her -- an invalid email address, obviously.   When I send an email to her from the Outlook.com webmail (on Internet Explorer instead of MSN Explorer), my address appears correctly (@msn.com) and her reply reaches me at both Outlook.com and MSN Mail.   So, what's with the MSN Mail?   Is it being phased out?   And please -- no "private message" with a phone number to an overseas call center.   ANSWERS HERE, PLEASE.   Thank you.

Hello,

We are really sorry for the inconvenience.

What type of email account does your friend has ? ( Domain )

Is she using any third party application to access emails ?

If Yes please ask her to send a test email to her self and check if the email address show correctly.

Is she facing this issue only while replying to your email address ?

These type of  issue occurs when customers use any third party software to access emails.

Thanks

Jason

Thank you for an informational answer, rather than the usual toll-free phone number.   She says that she had never had that happen before with mail from my MSN Mail until after all the recent updates and issues being reported.   She was always able to hit "Reply" and have {removed email address} (my MSN address) show up in "To".   I also sent an email to myself at my non-MSN webmail address and had the same thing she's had now (numbers/letters followed {removed email address}).

Hello,

Once again We are really sorry for the inconvenience.

If you could call MSN Technical Support, we can surely go a-head and check regarding this issue, the reason being we haven't come across this issue with any of our customers yet.

We ill get a clear picture of the issue once we establish remote access of your computer.

Thanks,

Jason
