    Hello,

The emails are backed up on MSN client by following the below mentioned steps, if you have followed those steps, then there will be a file ending with an Extension  .msnbak which will contain all your emails under folders on computer. If in case if you have just copied the entire files of that computer then we need to encrypt those emails and re-store them on MSN client Manually, this process needs to be performed very precisely, please check the private message below for further assistance.

    • Sign into msn client
    • Go to help and settings and click on settings.
    • Click on Email
    • Click on Import or export email, copy email,
    • Click on copy email
    • Click Next
    • Click on Save your MSN email stored on this computer
    • Click on Browse and save in desktop.
    • Click done

If you have found the .msnbak file on the external hard drive follow the below mentioned steps to restore the emails.

    • Sign into msn client
    • Go to help and settings and click on settings.
    • Click on Email
    • Click on Import or export email, copy email,
    • Click on copy email
    • Click Next
    • Click on open your saved MSN email
    • Browse the location where you saved the backup file on the laptop
    • Click on open
    • Click next and then finish.

    Thanks and regards

    Jeeva
