When any one sends an email to a second account address, {removed email address}, the senders recieves a Delivery Status notification (failure). This email states;

Delivery to the following recipients failed.

      {removed email address}

We do recieve the email that the senders send, but the senders think it has failed. The {removed email address} is an old email that was deleted back in May of this year. We have not had a problem until this past week.

{removed email address} is a good email address.

What can be done to correct this problem?

Thank You.

Greetings,

Thanks for using the MSN Solution Center Answers Forum.

Since you asked Qwest to close your account, they most likely deleted the q.com email address so the undeliverable message is expected in that case.  Please make sure that your contacts have your new msn.com email address.

As your friends and associates are receiving undeliverable messages when sending to your new @msn.com email address, then try the below mentioned steps:

Things to do: To remove email forwarding:

Sign into hotmail website by visiting http://www.hotmail.com/ > Click Hotmail Inbox > Click options at the top right hand corner > click more options > Under Managing your account > Click Email Forwarding > Make sure to check Don’t Forward and then click Save.

Let us know the outcome.

Thanks!
