To have the shortcut for the MSN Software on the desktop, please follow the below given instructions
For Win Vista / Win 7
- Click on ‘computer’
- Click on ‘local drive C’
- Click on ‘Program files’
- Click on the folder ‘MSN’
- Click on the folder ‘MSN Corefiles’
- Check for the Butterfly icon which says ‘MSN.exe’
- Right click on ‘MSN.exe’, in the dropdown click on ‘Send to’ Desktop ( create shortcut)
Note: In case if you are unable to view the ‘MSN.exe’ file, it will be hidden it needs to be unhidden, please find the below given instructions:
a. Click ‘Organize’, ‘Folder and Search options’, then ‘View’
b. Put a dot on ‘Show hidden files and folders’
c. Uncheck the ‘Hide extensions for known file types’ and ‘Hide protected operating system files options’
d. Click ‘Apply’, then ‘OK’
For Win XP
- Click on ‘computer’
- Click on ‘local drive C’
- Click on ‘Program files’
- Click on the folder ‘MSN’
- Click on the folder ‘MSN Corefiles’
- Check for the Butterfly icon which says ‘MSN.exe’
- Right click on ‘MSN.exe’, in the dropdown click on ‘Send to’ Desktop ( create shortcut)
