I hadn't seen this suggestion yesterday when I was on here looking for a solution for this irritating problem that it appears many people are having. I just tried the suggestion and signing in and hitting enter after entering my password rather than clicking with my mouse & it worked. Thank you so much!
I no longer have to go to Firefox to log in to BOA.

I discussed this with a BofA Rep who said MSN has a problem with their software since the bank updated their software. Do you have a solution working for this problem?

When is the issue with Bank of America and MSN going to be resolved. I am also having problems with some of my other Business accounts. The only way I have been able to access them is through firefox. This problem is getting to be very frustrating. If it is not resolved soon I am going to look for other providers. I do not have the time to deal with this every day.

Hi Bergie68,

I am not sure if you've seen the update in this post. You can check the previous responses in this thread. Others were able to sign into the BofA site using the workaround we provided.

@Gray Ghost 98

Yes, there was indeed an incompatibility with what the BofA site administrators updated. It looks like there are some browsers which were not considered when they did the update. We're looking into this to update/fix the issue. For now, there's a workaround which other users confirmed to have worked on their end. Check out the reply in the first page.

Bank of America said they changed security and that if I could sign in from Internet Explorer then it was MSN's problem. I had no trouble getting into online banking thru Internet Explorer.

If you are unable to sign into your Bank of America online account while using MSN Explorer, please try the following:

1) Open a new window in MSN Explorer and go to https://BankofAmerica.com.
2) Enter your Online ID and click Sign In.
3) Verify your Site Code and type your Passcode, but do NOT click the Sign In button.
4) Press the Enter key on your keyboard.
5) The sign in process should complete successfully.

Note: Until a permanent fix is released, the Enter key will need to be used each time you sign into your Bank of America online account.

Tell us if this temporary workaround works for you. We're still working on a permanent fix.

cannot sign into new banking website from msn.  If I go to Comcast with IE8, no problem.  What's the problem?
