MSN Explorer crashing after installing the KB3132372 security update

We are aware that you may be experiencing an issue where MSN Explorer crashes when you visit Flash enabled sites after installing the KB3132372 security update on your Windows 10 system.

This issue has been addressed with the release of KB3133431 and is available via Windows Update.

No special actions are required to obtain this update as it will install automatically.

 To expedite this update, please check for Windows Updates.

 Check for Windows Updates:

  1. Select the Start button , and then select Settings 
  2. In the Settings Window, select Update & security > Windows Update > Check for updates.

If you do not see KB3133431 in the list of available updates, it may already be installed.

Check If KB3133431 Is Installed:

  1. Select the Start button , and then select Settings
  2. In the Settings Window, select Update & security > Windows Update > Advanced Options > View your update history

 If you disabled Flash as a workaround for this issue, you may enable Flash once KB3133431 has been installed.

 Enable Flash:

  1. Open Internet Explorer and then click on the Tools icon (Alt+X).
  2. In the Tools dropdown menu, select Options and then click the Programs tab. 
  3. Click the Manage add-ons button.
  4. Under Add-on Types, click on Toolbars and Extension, and then select Shockwave Flash Object.
  5. Click the Enable button in the lower right to enable Flash.
