Was previously able to insert CD's and DVD's into my computer and have them play without any further action on my part other than occasionaly needing to click "Play".

When I now insert a disc the Windows Media Player comes up but does not allow me to play it.  The Player shows "Now Playing" and the screen has Windows Media Guide on it.  When I click "play" a message comes up - Windows Media Player cannot find the file. If you are trying to play, burn or sync an item that is in your library, the item might point to a file that has been moved, renamed or deleted.

The music CD I am attempting to play has been played before and was never part of the library.  However, when searching the library to see if it was there I discovered that the only items there are the sample music and one CD which I had added.  The music from my IPOD which was previously there was also gone.

The Help box in the message was of no help.

Thank you,
Virginia
