Hi Charles,

As part of our continued efforts to keep our customers’ accounts secure, we have implemented a process called Two Factor Authentication. At this time TFA is only active at https://Commerce.Microsoft.com.

The two factors are:
1. Your Microsoft Live ID
2. A code sent to your alternate e-mail address.

Add new security information
1.Go tohttps://account.live.com/Proofs/Manage
2.Make sure that you have at least two security information present. It is highly recommended that you fill out all four types.•Phone Number – preferably mobile number capable of receiving SMS •Alternate email address •Trusted PC •Security Question
3.Once you’re done, click Save
4.Log in to https://commerce.microsoft.com 5.Enter the verification code 6.Update your payment information.

Remove old security information (If Applicable)

1.Sign in to http://account.live.com using your email address and password
2.Click the dropdown arrow beside your Name located at the upper right corner of the screen.
3.Click Account.
4.Under Account security, click Manage beside Security info.
5.Click Delete after Alternate Email or other proof.
6.Click Mark them all for removal to continue.
7.Click Mark for removal. ( For security measures it will take 30 days for removal of information)or you can contact MSN Billing support for Help over the phone to add new Credit card and update your information.

Please check the Private Message area below for further information. Make sure that you are signed in to be able to see this area.

Thanks,
Nitesh
