I have been looking at the various posting and responses on how to cancel my MSN account.

Couple of questions came into mind before I cancel my account.

1.  Once I cancel my MSN account, I realize that my e-mail converts to a hotmail account. Can I be able to set up a new hotmail account using a different user name prior to cancelling my msn account ?

2.  Two of the response that I noticed which is confusing to me is moving my e-mail folders.

The two response states to "Make sure to copy the e-mails back to the server folders, and the other response is the same to move e-mail to server folders for your account and allow them to sync to the server".
The posting doesn't tell explain how to move the e-mail folders and  how to sync them to the server.

How do I moved my folders to the server and how do I sync them to the server?

3.  I also found a third party website called trueswitch.com, where they will transfer your e-mail folders and e-mail name , and notify the contacts.

Is trueswitch.com a reliable website, in case If I can't move my e-mail folders to the server?
