It would seem that while browsing  (both IE & MSN browsers) and off-clicking on each individual image/photo, a menu option is available to "View Original Image", clicking on this choice corrects (sharpens) the image by "updating the page". Only the image selected is corrected.  Apparently "something" (program?) is altering the image.
