For the first few months I had my new HP Pavilion dv7 computer it allowed me to access MSN Premium email with the butterfly icon; then about 4 or 5 months ago it suddenly would not let me access my email using the usual butterfly. It keeps indicating signing in (attempt 2) and will then tell me I am not connected to the internet. While in all reality, I can then login through hotmail and have access immediately to my email, however, I do not like to use hotmail (after all that is why I pay $60 a year to have MSN, otherwise I would use free hotmail and not complain about this problem).
I have already tried the following: 1. when opening the butterfly, I clicked on Connection Settings as it indicated in the already questions asked section of msn support, however, there was not a dsl box to check or uncheck and 2. I have reset Internet explorer.
Can you tell me how to correct this situation?
