Hi,At home where you use the dial up connection, it would not be necessary for you to use the Manual Dialer (MSN1) if MSN Explorer is already installed. If you need to configure MSN Explorer for dial up, make sure that on Connection Settings "Connect using Lan or DSL" is unchecked. Also, set your MSN as the default dialer:
Click Start and select Control Panel Double-click on Internet Options Go to Connections tab Inside the box, make sure MSN is the one set as default If not, click on MSN and click on Set default on the right corner Click on Never Dial a Connection Click Apply then OKIf you are on a wifi connection to configure MSN for broadband/wifi use just uncheck "Connect using Lan or DSL" Let us know the results once you try signing in to MSN after configuring it for dial up use.Hope this helps,Paolo M.
