Latest post: LeoM, Friday, July 20, 2012 6:21 PM
I have email forwarding set up from another email account - but it no longer seems to work (see below). http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errors told me to look at http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errorshttp://www.spamhaus.org but their website shows permemail05.alumniconnections.com, alumniconnections.com, and 198.212.10.108 as all being NOT blocked.alumniconnections.comalumniconnections.compermemail05.alumniconnections.comalumniconnections.compermemail05.alumniconnections.comalumniconnections.compermemail05.alumniconnections.comalumniconnections.comWho should I contact to have this fixed...and how can I reach them?thanks,LeoThis is the Postfix program at host http://permemail05.alumniconnections.com/.<br style="color: rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family: arial, sans-serif; line-height: normal; text-align: -webkit-auto; background-color:

Hi,Indicated on the message it seems that you need to contact your Internet Service Provider about the concern since the network where the messages is going through is blocking the incoming information. Thanks!Paolo M.

Unfortunately, it is hotmail (more specifically http://mx4.hotmail.com/[65.55.92.152]) - and not some other ISP which is blocking the incoming SMTP connection.  When I go on hotmail's website to look up the SMTP error message - 550 OU-001 - it tells me it was the incoming SMTP connection was blocked because the sender is on spamhaus.org's blocked list.  But when I checked with spamhaus they said the sender's domain and IP address were both safe (ie NOT blocked).Until recently this all worked fine - messages sent to my alumni email address were forwarded successfully to my xxxxx.msn.com email address. This is particularly annoying because the reason I found out is that it is MSN (or at least hotmail) sending the original message.  My daughter forgot her hotmail password and the reset password email is set to be sent to me via my alumni email address...except that hotmail isn't accepting the mail anymore.

Hi,It is good to know that the email messages from alumniconnections.com is now forwarding messages successfully to your msn email. For future reference, go to this website: https://support.msn.com/eform.aspx?productKey=edfsmsbl&page=support_home_options_form_byemail&ct=eformts so they can further assist you. Thanks.Paolo M.

Sadly, no.  As I said in my last post MSN/hotmail is still refusing connections from alumniconnections.com.  The hotmail mail server gives an SMTP error code that says the reason it is denying service is that the server is on spamhaus.org's blocked list - but spamhaus says the domains (and IP address) are all OK. But that said, I do very much appreciate your giving me the link to MSN support - every time I kept trying to find the email support link it kept redirecting me to this forum. Thanks again,Leo
