My calendar items have disappeared. Is there a way to get them back?
Latest post: Nitesh, Thursday, August 09, 2012 2:25 PM
I had numerous birthday reminders on my MSN calendar and they are no longer there.  How can I get them back?  I did not delete them - they are just5 gone.

It is not in the Hotmail account either.  Where do I go in answers.microsoft.com.  It looks like where I posted my problem originally. Thanks, Mary

Hello marydob,

There is a chance that this issue is caused by congested temp files in the Temp folder on your computer. Follow the steps below to fix the issue:1.http://support.microsoft.com/kb/936213/he 2. Click Start, type

regsvr32 softpub.dll wintrust.dllin the Start Search box, and then press Enter. 3. Click Start, type

ipconfig /flushdnsin the Start Search box

If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a confirmation, type the password, or click Allow.

Hope these step will resolved the issue.

ThanksShawns

I can't get Shawns instructions to work.  When I type the first URL I go to a Microsoft Support page and then I can't Click Start, and type.  Am I missing a step? Thanks Mary

Shawns - I can't get these instructions to work.  Maybe I am not understanding them correctly.  When I enter #1 I go to the Microsoft Support page and there is no Start to click on there. Thanks, Mary

Hi Marydob,The settings for your secured site browsing might be incorrect or temporary internet files have accumulated and has used up the space alloted to the temporary folder.
