You receive one of the following error messages after typing in your e-mail address and password on the Welcome screen, and then clicking Next.
Error 176: We did not recognize your e-mail address and password. Please check the information you typed and try again.
Error 177: We did not recognize your e-mail address and password. Please check the information you typed and try again.
Make sure you enter the correct e-mail address and password when you sign up for a subscription, or installing MSN software, or adding a secondary account to your subscription, or sign into MSN.

Follow the instructions on our IVR and if you are unable to reset the password via the IVR, one of our customer support representative will help resolve the issue.
