How do I delete the Qwest Message notifying me of MSN update in June 2011

Hi,

Follow the steps below:

TO REMOVE THE TRANSITION POP-UP
1. Close MSN client, make sure the process for msn.exe stops. Restarting the computer is the best way to do this.

2. Delete the au.ini in user’s app data folder

XP
i. Click on Start, then Run and key in:
%userprofile%\application data\msn6\
ii. Locate au.ini and delete it.

VISTA
i. Click on Start and key in (in the Start search box):
%userprofile%\appdata\roaming\msn6\
ii. Locate au.ini and delete it.

3. Un-install the MSN software through the Control Panel
- Click Start, click Control Panel, open Add / Remove Programs or Programs and Features, locate MSN and uninstall
4. Restart the computer.
5. Download the newest MSN software version by going to http://g.msn.com/1csinstlr_/enus (Note : there is an underscore ( _ ) after 1csinstlr)
6. Install the MSN software then restart the computer.

7. Sign-in to MSN. You should not be seeing the pop-up message anymore.
